It is easier to preach ten sermons than it is to live just one.
Have you ever wondered why so many people have such a dim view of the church? Or have you wondered why the most common reason for someone not going to church is because it is full hypocrites? During a recent study with some of my close friends the spirit lead us to the following scripture.
John 13:34-35:
34. So now I am giving you a new commandment: Love each other. Just as I have loved you, you should love each other. 35. Your love for one another will prove to the world that you are my disciples.
If only we would make this our highest goal.
1 Corinthians 14:1:
1. Let love be your highest goal!…
I would like to challenge you today to make it a priority in your life to love one another as Christ loves us. Be willing and able to set your own desires aside for the needs of others. Scripture plainly tells us that our sacrifificial love for one another will be proof to the world that we are true followers of Christ.
And remember that as a Christian your life is a sermon being preached to the world, so be mindful of the fruit that you bear.
