The Case for Christianity Answer Book (Answer Book Series) - Kindle edition by Lee Strobel. Religion & Spirituality Kindle eBooks @ Amazon.com.
I have great respect for this man and the journey he took to where he is now. I read his book on how he found Christ , saw the movie, and read this book on answers given by Lee Strobel. The book was indeed Mr. Strobel and the anwsers given where direct and what I believe truthful. He has a realilistic way of presenting his thoughts so we that read the book are able to understand him with nothing of confusion left for us to wonder able. It is to the point with no rabbit holes to get lost in. I suggest all read and be able to understand .
Fake Atheism: The Suppression of the Truth and the Atheist Syndrome - Kindle edition by Mike A Robinson. Religion & Spirituality Kindle eBooks @ Amazon.com.
Aggressive atheism is attempting to make an impact in the West, and its opponent is God. Yet, a person who claims to be an atheist is suppressing the truth in unrighteousness (Romans 1:18). God’s word also reveals, “What can be known about God is plain to them” (Romans 1:19). Consequently, whenever nonbelievers try to deny God’s existence, the God who made them reveals that they actually know He exists. The fact that people know these things doesn’t mean that they will quickly acknowledge that truth. It usually takes ten minutes or more to have an atheist admit that he is really just an agnostic. Additionally, it is sometimes difficult to convince an agnostic or a hardened atheist that they know God exists—which is a truth that can help set them free. The inclination to suppress the truth in unrighteousness is to be taken very seriously. Some atheists will get very angry when you call their bluff, and some will fight to the bitter end to hold onto that which they know is false. Refuting the likes of Richard Dawkins, Sam Harris, Christopher Hitchens and Lawrence Krauss straight on, Mike Robinson reveals the fallacies in their approach, arguing that their irrational and emotional methodology reveals their foolishness and self-deception.
Why Are You A Christian? (Cold-Case Christianity Broadcast #16) | Cold Case Christianity
In this episode of the Cold-Case Christianity Broadcast, J. Warner asks an important question: If you’re a Christian, why is this the case? How we answer this question is critically important given the growingly hostile nature of our culture related to classical Christianity. J. Warner reviews some of the answers he’s been given as he travels the country, and offers an evidential response of his own. (For more information, visit www.ColdCaseChristianity.com ).

Defending YOUR faith: Why It's Important-Part II
Neither trait is worthy of “greatness” or “honor.” I will conclude and paraphrase what Lewis concluded: if Jesus was not lying or crazy, He must be the Son of God. If we allow Jesus to be framed a “great prophet or teacher,” we have allowed Him to be relegated to the level of any other religious sage, with a message no more or less important than that of Buddha, Mohammed, Confucius, or numerous others–famous or obscure. The “truth” becomes simply a matter of personal pragmatism, if it works for you, then it is good for you. While this may work if we are only concerned with people governing themselves according to some moral guidelines, it cares nothing for the souls of men or their eternal future. This is not acceptable in the Christian faith.

An Investigation: Is Jesus Liar, Lunatic, or Lord?
Due to His influence, Jesus of Nazareth has been transforming lives for almost two millennia. In the process, He has rewritten the direction and outcome of human history. It’s a fact that the teachings of Jesus have been a force of overwhelming good throughout the history of the world. Unfortunately, it also is true that much harm has been committed in Jesus’ name — both by the church at large, and by individuals seeking to use Him to further their own agendas.

My Body: Friend or Foe?
Freedom is not finally liking the body that you see in the mirror of the little room of your world. Freedom is having the walls blown away and being so staggered by the world and its grandeur and the greatness of the God who made it that the last thing you would worry about or think about is yourself. You would be drawn outside yourself in a stunning, glorious, freeing way.

If I Were 22 Again
I was recently asked that question as part of a conference on world missions. I turned 22 in the middle of my senior year at Wheaton College. I was an English Literature major and headed to Fuller Seminary. I got engaged to Noël five months after I turned 22, just before I graduated. God’s call on my life, as I discerned it, was clear but broad: I felt called to the word of God. What I would do with it, I had no idea.

God Put You on the Pale Blue Dot: Why Your Small Life Is Not Meaningless
The short, but profound, answer is that God loves his own glory so much he must share it — share it with himself, and share it with angels, and then share it with other rational creatures, and that’s where we come into the story. The earth is a very small theater, but it is a playhouse, a God-made stage to manifest his love, joy, and glory. But not as in a cinema, as though we sit back as passive watchers and gaze at something televisual, viewing something distant and remote. The drama enacted on the theater of this pale blue dot is nothing less than the drama of us — God’s design for our sufferings, our gains, our losses, our births, our lives, and our ends.

How to respond more effectively when someone questions your faith
Last year I did an online survey of topics. More people wanted to know about how to respond more effectively when someone questions their faith, than they did to other huge questions like “Why would a loving God send people to hell?” or even “Why do bad things sometimes happen to good people?”
Avengers: Infinity War and Possible Worlds
Marvel Studios has devoted the past decade to developing many of my favorite childhood comics into fantastic movies. They started with Iron man, Thor, and Captain America, and then went on to develop other stars and co-stars within a robust Marvel Universe that, in my opinion, is unrivaled — even by Star Wars! Not only do I love the Marvel super heroes who I grew up with in the comic books, but these recent movies have provided fantastic opportunities to discuss philosophical and theological issues in pop-culture. For example, FreeThinking Ministries has pointed out how Captain America knows that there is only one God … and He does not dress like Thor! Cap also knows of the “law above the law” that can only be grounded in God (See Make America Great ). Tony Stark (Iron Man) has demonstrated how absurd it is to hold a person accountable for their actions when someone else is ultimately in control of their thoughts and actions (See Captain America, Bucky, & Moral Responsibility ).

Correct, Not Politically Correct: How Same Sex Marriage Hurts Everyone
Why not legalize same-sex marriage? Who could it possibly hurt? Using sound reasoning and evidence—not religion—award-winning author Frank Turek shows that everyone will be hurt including children, the nation, and even homosexuals themselves. Turek provides concise answers to objections about equal rights, discrimination, and being born a certain way, and he exposes the real reason gay activists are trying to impose same-sex marriage on the country without a single vote from the people. Turek’s message is direct but respectful. It is correct, not politically correct. And it is a message that we must not ignore. For details, see ImpactApologetics.com .
A New Defense of the Historical Reliability of the Bible
Over the last few decades, Christian apologetic defenses of the historicity of the New Testament have typically pursued a minimal facts approach according to which one seeks to establish a basic set of core claims about the life and death of Jesus which are most widely accepted by biblical scholars (e.g. crucifixion; empty tomb; post-resurrection appearances). One then argues that the resurrection is the best hypothesis to explain those commonly agreed upon facts.
Can Christians Answer One Simple Question?
Why are you a Christian? As a youth pastor and professor at a Christian college, I ask this question to all of my students. The typical answer in response is nothing but a blank stare. After a little coaxing, sometimes I get answers like “’cause I was born in ‘Merica!” With that I respond, “Oh, so if you were born in Afghanistan, then you would be a Muslim?” The blank stare typically returns.
Embracing Spiritual Boredom
There are many things that come at our faith and tempt us to walk away. There are many dangers, many hurdles, and many trials. But I wonder if we look past a subtle and more dangerous problem: spiritual boredom. Normal, everyday boredom where we aren’t entertained and stimulated is a modern problem, but I’m talking about a more ancient problem. Spiritual boredom has poked and tripped up our mothers and fathers in the faith since the early parts of the biblical story. What I mean by spiritual boredom is the feeling of that void, that lack of experiences that so filled our early season of faith.

Stop Bowing to the God of Busyness
I don’t do rest. I do .
I’m one of those obnoxious types who thrives on little sleep, has more-than-average amounts of energy, and derives probably too much pleasure from the sound of my pen striking through an item on my to-do list. Big cities like the one I live in are filled with people like me—all diligently competing to get the most done, feel the most important, and accomplish all our life goals.
But when people like me meet the God of rest, we have a problem.
Smug senses of superiority for accomplishing many tasks don’t fit neatly into God’s kingdom. Measuring oneself by achievements doesn’t match up with a gospel that saves by grace, not by more work. I believe the gospel, and I’ve received grace upon grace. So why do I—and so many other Western Christians—keep falling into the trap of doing more?
In the church it can be just as bad. Join a small group. Oh, and a service team. And bring a cake to the youth bake sale. And could you just swing by for the volunteer day? Before you know it, we are working pretty hard for a God who saves by grace. Even if you observe a sabbath, you might work pretty hard to do it! Again I ask, why?
To fall into the trap of perpetual busyness is to confuse the God of the Bible with the god of this world.
Why Does God Love Satan?
I believe that GOD does love Satan. He (Jesus)instructs us to “love our enemies” and do good to them who “abuse” us. Would HE command us to do what HE doesn’t do Himself? GOD also does much for the evil as well as the good(saved by grace, cleansed by the blood ) of those on earth– such as send rain. In JOB, GOD asks Satan what he’s been up to and has he seen his servant JOB–how upright he is. Now why would GOD care what Satan thought and why would HE allow Satan to “trouble” JOB so if HE didn’t care about Satan himself. Surely it wasn’t just for the sake of winning an argument, no,I think it was to prove to Satan that it was possible for a person/being to obey and love GOD more than themselves–the very things Satan had failed at. I believe HE went through this trouble because HE loved him. In the same way, we should feel sorry for Satan, not hate him, but hate his works — just as we are to love the sinner and not the sins.

Gen Z, Let’s Prioritize the Gospel as We Pursue Justice
In junior high, I became friends with a social justice warrior. She wasn’t a Christian, but she had an extravagant and sincere concern for people and was driven to eradicate suffering and bring relief. She was the first teenager I met who was actively involved in collecting food for the homeless, donating her hair to cancer research, attending rallies for refugees, and raising awareness for human trafficking, child soldiers, and global famine. She woke me up to some of these issues for the first time.
But her love for justice wasn’t rooted in spiritual realities; it was intertwined with simple idealism and a search for self-fulfillment in temporary humanitarian relief. More than anyone else I know, she lives out the dominant and defining belief of Generation Z: social justice is our god.
Generation Z and Justice
It’s no stereotype; the statistics show that my generation is obsessed with justice. Forbes reports that Generation Z is “passionate about equality and justice of every kind. They fight for themselves, their friends, their classmates and others they see treated unfairly, whether due to issues of gender, sexuality, race, pay, or environmental.

Can we really trust the Bible if the manuscripts have mistakes? — Southern Equip
Oddly enough, when it comes to differences between biblical manuscripts, some skeptics seem to pursue a similar line of reasoning to the one my teacher followed when I asked the differences between the Gospels. “How does it help us to say that the Bible is the inerrant word of God if in fact we don’t have the words that God inerrantly inspired,” one such skeptic claims, “but only the words copied by the scribes—sometimes correctly but sometimes (many times!) incorrectly?” In other words, if there are variations among the many thousands of copies of Scripture, how can anyone reasonably claim that the Scriptures are inerrant?
